Safety Tinned Duplex Cable - Flat
Ancor safety tinned duplex cable features red and yellow Marine Grade primary conductors following ABYC color-coding. These conductors, encased in a white common jacket for easy removal, offer superior abrasion resistance. Exceeding UL 1426 standards, the cables utilize high-quality, ultra-flexible (Type 3/Class K) tinned copper stranding, providing excellent protection against corrosion and electrolysis while minimizing fatigue from vibration.
The premium vinyl insulation is rated for 600 volts, withstanding temperatures up to 105 °C in dry conditions and 75 °C in wet conditions. It remains flexible in extreme cold (-40 °F/C) and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion, and UV radiation.
To enhance clarity, Safety Wire designates red for positive leads and yellow for negative leads in DC circuits, preventing any confusion as all AC and DC wires have distinct colors.
