Xylem’s Jabsco Marine Macerator Waste Pump
Macerator Waste Pump with run-dry protection, the pump can empty a typical 30-gallon (115-liter) holding tank in under 3 minutes. Its 15-minute duty cycle allows for the complete evacuation of a 180-gallon (680-liter) tank in one go.
The 18590 models are great for emptying fish boxes and livewells. If the livewell tank is above the waterline, gravity can assist with emptying. If not, Marine Macerator Waste Pumps are ideal due to their self-priming and grinding capabilities.
Fish boxes, often installed below or partially above the waterline, benefit similarly from these pumps. They easily handle bait residue, ice particles, and fish scales, making them perfect for sports fishing boats.
